It is easy to purchase a phone card in the various shops throughout the country. Moreover, there are many “Teleboutiques” that offer cheap communication services

Confirmation of your return flight
Please drop off your tickets at the desk reserved for the event in the hotel. Our staff will confirm your return flight and will place your tickets in your respective racks.

Insurance
Before your arrival, make sure to buy a valid insurance that covers sickness, hospitalization, and accidents. Pharmacies and medical services are easy to find throughout the country. However, if your health condition requires a particular attention, we kindly invite you to inform us prior to your arrival.

Currency
The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). 1€ =11MAD Approx.

Banks
Some cards (Visa, MasterCard or Amex) can be used in Morocco. ATMs are widely available.

Tipping
In restaurants and cafes, you are expected to leave a tip of approximately10%.

Transportation
Transportation from Marrakesh Airport to the Hotel and from the Hotel to the Airport is provided between 1st and 4th November. There are several means of transportation in Morocco; though public transportation is effective and covers a broader geographical area, you are recommended to use taxi services which you can call from Marrakesh at 05 24 434607. They all have meters and are reliable.

Weather
Early November is the beginning of winter in Morocco. Weather is unpredictable, but during that time of the year, days are usually cool and nights slightly colder.

Electricity
The voltage in Morocco is 220V. Two-pin plugs are used.

Food and Beverages
Water from the tap is perfectly drinkable. However, for short stays like yours, we recommend bottled water.
On the other hand, Morocco offers a variety of local and international cuisines and drinks. If you have any preferences or dietary constraints, please notify us before your arrival.
